This resolution appropriates $46,895 from the 2003 Common Council Contingent Fund to the Department of Employee Relations Operating Expenditures Account for payment of MPA Interest Arbitration expenses incurred in 2003.

Whereas, The Department of Employee Relations' Operating Expenditure Account is budgeted at $552,100 for 2003; and
Whereas, Through October 2003, $390,330 has been expended in operating expenses, leaving $160,454 for the balance of 2003; and
Whereas, MPA Interest Arbitration costs is not an expense that was included in the department's 2003 budget; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that an amount not to exceed $46,895 shall be transferred from the 2003 Common Council Contingent Fund (0001-9990-0001-C001-006300-2003) to the Department of Employee Relations' Operating Expenditure Account (006300-0001-1650-R999-2003); and, be it
Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized and directed to establish all funds and necessary accounting procedures to fulfill the intent of this resolution.
