Title
An ordinance requiring a zoning inspection prior to the issuance of a zoning certificate if the proposed use relates to light and heavy motor vehicle uses.

Analysis
This ordinance provides that a zoning inspection is required of the premises prior to the issuance of a certificate of zoning by the commissioner of city development in cases where the proposed use is for light or heavy motor vehicle uses including sales, rental and repair facilities, body shops, outdoor storage, and parking lots where parking is the principal use of the premises.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
 
PART 1.  Section 200-42-2-b-4 of the code is created to read:
 
200-42.      Certificate of Occupancy.
2.  WHEN ISSUED.
b-4.  After a zoning inspection to determine that the building, structure, premises or part thereof complies with all applicable zoning regulations, if the proposed use is for light or heavy motor vehicle uses including sales, rental and repair facilities, body shops, outdoor storage, and parking lots where parking is the principal use of the premises.
