Analysis

This resolution authorizes the cancellation of invoices totaling $17,512.50 billed to Tanco Terminals, Inc.

Body

Whereas, Tanco Terminals, Inc. (Tanco) was a tenant of the Port of Milwaukee (Port); and

Whereas, The lease agreement between Tanco and the Port was terminated by mutual agreement effective September 1, 1993; and

Whereas, Tanco ceased operating on Jones Island as of August 31, 1993; and

Whereas, Tanco was billed rent in the amount of $17,512.50 in error by the Port for the period September 1 through November 30^th, 1993; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that outstanding invoices billed to The Port of Milwaukee by Tanco in the amount of $17,512.50 be cancelled.
