Body
Whereas, Badgerland Party Masters, Inc (Badgerland) was a tenant of the Port of Milwaukee and defaulted on its lease in 2001; and
Whereas, Badgerland failed to respond to the notice of default within the allotted time; and
Whereas, The City Attorney commenced eviction of Badgerland pursuant to the lease agreement and as provided by statute; and
Whereas, A notice of entry of judgement was filed by the City Attorney with the Clerk of Courts on February 5, 2002 in the amount of $15,340.88; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the outstanding invoice owed to the Port of Milwaukee by Badgerland, in the amount of $8,500 be cancelled.
