Analysis
This resolution accepts a sewer easement, SE-2733, granted by Milwaukee County to the City of Milwaukee located north of North Lincoln Memorial Drive and east of North Terrace Avenue (extended) in the 3rd Aldermanic District.
Body
Whereas, The City of Milwaukee is responsible for maintaining a pumping station along North Lincoln Memorial Drive at North Terrace Avenue (extended); and
Whereas, The City has prepared plans and awarded a contract for rehabilitating the pumping station and relaying the force main into which the pumping station discharges wastewater; and
Whereas, The force main will be located outside of the existing right-of-way of North Terrace Avenue (extended) in property owned by Milwaukee County; and
Whereas, Sewer Easement SE-2733, granting permission to the City to construct and maintain sanitary sewers in property owned by Milwaukee County has been prepared by the City; and
Whereas, The Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors approved a resolution (File No. 03-454) on September 25, 2003 authorizing the execution of said easement; and
Whereas, Sewer Easement SE-2733 will also grant the City the right of entry in and across the property and with the right to inspect, enlarge, reconstruct and relocate as may become applicable said force main; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the City of Milwaukee hereby accepts Sewer Easement SE-2733, said Sewer Easement document being attached to Common Council Resolution File Number 030855 and incorporated in this resolution by reference as though set forth in full; and, be it
