Title
Ordinance relating to amending the boundary of the Lakefront Overlay District (LF) to remove land located on the South Side of East Erie Street and adjacent to the Milwaukee River, in the 4th Aldermanic District. (DCD)
Analysis
This ordinance will remove land that is being developed for a mixed-use condominium structure from the Lakefront Overlay District so that it can be developed in accordance with its base zoning district.

Resolved, That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. There is added to the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances a new section to read as follows:
Section 295-1015.2.a.0001. The zoning map is amended to remove land from the Lakefront Overlay District for Lot 7 in Block 173 in the survey and subdivision of Lots 1 and 2 and lands in the North 1/2 of fractional Section 33, Town 7 North, Range 22 East, in the City of Milwaukee, County of Milwaukee, State of Wisconsin, and parts of vacated East Erie Street and vacated Center Street, bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the most Northerly corner of Lot 7 of said Block 173; thence South 33 deg. 19 min. 02 sec. East 316.95 feet to the established dock line of the Milwaukee River; thence South 85 deg. 48 min. 29 sec. West along said dock line 86.59 feet to a point; thence North 67 deg. 20 min. 57 sec. West along said dock line 47.50 feet to a point; thence North 33 deg. 18 min. 29 sec. West along said dock line 232.52 feet to a point; thence North 34 deg. 04 min. 57 sec. West along said dock line 4.38 feet to the Southwesterly corner of said Lot 7; thence North 57 deg. 30 min. 05 sec. East along the northwesterly line of said Lot 7 a distance of 102.26 feet to the point of beginning, removing this land from the Lakefront Overlay District (LF).
