Resolution approving the terms of an Amendment to the Badger Cement Lease Agreement. (Port of Milwaukee)
Analysis-
This resolution would approve the terms of an Amendment to the Badger Cement Lease and
directing the Board of Harbor Commissioners to work with the City Attorney to draft and
execute such an Amendment.
BODY
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that said Common Council hereby ratifies and approves the terms and conditions of a proposed Amendment to the Badger Cement lease between the City, by and through its Board of Harbor Commissioners, and Badger Cement as those terms and conditions appear in the Letter Agreement dated August 26, 2003 between Badger Cement and the Board of Harbor Commissioners; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Board of Harbor Commissioners is directed to work with the City Attorney's office to draft an Amendment to the Badger Lease together with any and all other documents embodying such terms and conditions; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the designated officers of said City government and the Board of Harbor Commissioners are hereby authorized and directed to execute an agreement to carry out this purpose, with such agreement(s) as prepared by the City Attorney's office.
