Title

Substitute resolution authorizing the renewal of Water Services Agreement with the City of Wauwatosa.

Analysis

This resolution authorizes and directs the proper City officials to execute the renewal agreement with the City of Wauwatosa for the purchase of water at wholesale.

Body

Whereas, The City of Wauwatosa has been a valued wholesale customer of the Milwaukee Water Works since 1958; and

Whereas, The terms of the original agreement have expired; and

Whereas, Agreement has been reached with the City of Wauwatosa on the contract for the purchase of water at wholesale and Wauwatosa officials have approved the renewal agreement; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the proper City officials are hereby authorized and directed to execute the Agreement between the City of Milwaukee and the City of Wauwatosa for the purchase of water at wholesale, attached to this File; and be it

Further Resolved, That the Water Works file with the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin, a fully executed copy of the Agreement.
