Title
Substitute ordinance to further amend the 2003 offices and positions in the City Service under control of the Common Council.

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 020487 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under "Health Department, Home Environmental Health Division, Operation Lead Elimination Action Program Grant(OO)", add one position of "Lead Risk Assessor III(X)(OO)" and one position of "Office Assistant II (OO)" and amend footnote "(OO)" as follows: "To expire 07/31/05 unless the Operation Lead Elimination Action Program Grant is extended"; amend footnote "(L)" as follows: "To expire 07/31/04 unless the HIV Women's Project Grant is extended"; Under "Disease Control and Prevention, West Nile Virus Surveillance Grant (VV)", delete one position of "Nuisance Control Officer (.2 FTE)(X)(VV)" and amend footnote "(VV)" as follows: "To expire 06/30/04 unless the West Nile Virus Surveillance Grant is extended"; Under "Urban Air Toxics Grant (XX)", delete one position of "Environmental Hygenist (XX)(VV)(X)" and add one position of "Environmental Hygenist (.5 FTE)(X)(XX)" and amend footnote "(XX)" as follows: "To expire 04/01/04 unless the Urban Air Toxics Grant is extended."
Part 2. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 020487 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under "Police Department", amend footnote "(S)" as follows: "State Beat Patrol Grant: To expire 12/31/04 unless the Beat Patrol Grant, available from the State of Wisconsin, Office of Justice Assistance, is extended."
Part 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
