Title

Substitute ordinance to further amend the 2003 rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service under control of the Common Council.

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1.  Section 2 of ordinance File Number 020486 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 19, 2003 - August 31, 2003):

Under Salary Grade 002, delete the title "Diversity Specialist."

Under Salary Grade 003, add the title "Diversity Specialist."

Part 2.  All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

Part 3.  The provisions of this ordinance are deemed to have been in force and effect from and after Pay Period 19, 2003 (August 31, 2003).

Part 4.  The provisions of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after the first day of the first pay period following passage and publication.

Part 5.  This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
