Analysis

This ordinance will amend a current airspace lease granted to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Inc. for the premises at 5000 West Chambers Street and 5100 West Chambers Street.

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee

do ordain as follows:

Part 1.  FINDINGS.  In accordance with the provisions of sec. 66.0915(3), Wis. Stats., (2001-2002), the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee hereby authorizes, directs and agrees that the City of Milwaukee, through the proper city officers, amend an existing lease dated March 20, 1989 with St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Inc., formerly known as St. Joseph's Hospital of Franciscan Sisters, Milwaukee, relating to space located over North 51^st Street in the City of Milwaukee, so as to render it in conformity with recent airspace leases regarding the maintenance of signs.

Part 2.  A copy of the lease amendment is attached to the file and made part of Common Council File No. 030197.

Part 3.  All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

Part 4.  This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
