Title
Substitute ordinance relating to the change in zoning from Two-Family Residential (RT4) to Local Business (LB2), on land located on the South Side of West Monroe Street and East of North 27th Street, in the 7th Aldermanic District.
Analysis
This substitute ordinance will create a single base zoning district to permit commercial development.
Body
Resolved, That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, do ordain as follows:
 
Part 1. There is added to the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances a new section to read as follows:
 
Section 295-601(2).0004. The zoning map is amended to change the zoning for the area bounded by the zoning line within the right-of-way along West Monroe Street, a line 180 feet North and parallel to the north line of West Hickory Street, a line 210 feet North and parallel to the north line of West Hickory Street and a line 127.5 feet South and parallel to the south line of West Monroe Street, from Two-Family Residential (RT4) to Local Business (LB2).
