This substitute resolution approves Amendment No. 1 to the 2003 Operating Plan for the Historic Third Ward Business Improvement District No. 2.
Body
Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee (“Common Council”) under File No. 870501, adopted on October 6, 1987, created Business Improvement District No. 2 (“BID No. 2”) and approved its initial Operating Plan; and
Whereas, The Common Council under File No. 020848, adopted on October 15, 2002, approved the 2003 Operating Plan for BID No. 2; and
Whereas, Common Council File No. 970388, adopted on September 23, 1997, created Tax Incremental District No. 34 (“TID No. 34”), Historic Third Ward Riverwalk, and adopted a Project Plan for said tax incremental district which contemplates its implementation through the Board of BID No. 2; and
Whereas, The Board of BID No. 2 has submitted Amendment No. 1 to the 2003 Operating Plan for BID No. 2 reflecting additional work items with no additional cost, which requires an amendment to the 2003 Operating Plan to accommodate changes encountered in development activities for the Board of BID No. 2 to initiate the implementation of said Historic Third Ward Riverwalk Project; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that Amendment No. 1 to the 2003 Operating Plan for Business Improvement District No. 2 (Historic Third Ward), a copy of which is attached to this Common Council File, is approved; and, be it
Further Resolved, That all City officials, departments, boards and commissions are authorized and directed to take all such actions and to provide such assistance needed to carry out the intent and purpose of this resolution and the implementa...
