Analysis
This ordinance eliminates meter parking on Saturdays along West Mitchell Street between S. 6th Street and S. 13th Street and portions of various intersecting streets. Saturday parking in these locations will continue to be subject to the time limitations previously in force under the meter parking system.

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 101-23-4-c of the code relating to one-hour parking is amended by adding the following:
On the east side of South 7th Street from West Mitchell Street to a point 150 feet north from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday
On South 8th Street from West Mitchell Street to a point 120 feet north from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday
On South 8th Street from West Mitchell Street to a point 120 feet south from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday
On South 10th Street from West Mitchell Street to a point 120 feet north from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday
On South 10th Street from West Mitchell Street to a point 120 feet south from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday
On the east side of South 11th Street from West Mitchell Street to a point 120 feet south from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday
On the west side of South 11th Street from W. Mitchell Street to West Maple Street from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday
On the west side of South 11th Street from a point 120 feet north of West Mitchell Street to a point 140 feet further north from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday
On South 12th Street from West Mitchell Street to a point 120 feet north from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday
On South 13th Street from West Forest Home Avenue to West Maple Street from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday
Part 2. Section 101-23-4-d of the code relating to 2-hour parking is amended by adding the following:
On the east side of South 9th Street from West Mitchell Street to a point 120 feet north from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday
On the west side of South 9th Street from West Mitchell Street to a point 200 feet north from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday
On the east side of South 9th Street from West Mitchell Street to a point 120 feet south from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday
On South 12th Street from West Mitchell Street to a point 260 feet south from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday
On the south side of West Forest Home Avenue from West Mitchell Street to South 13th Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday
On West Mitchell Street from South 6th Street to South 12th Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday

Part 3. Section 101-32-3-c-1 of the code relating to one-hour meter parking is amended by striking the following:
“S. 10th Street from the north curb line of W. Mitchell Street north to the south line of the first east-west alley north of W. Mitchell Street, from 9 A.M. to 6 P.M., except on Friday from 9 A.M. to 9 P.M.”
“On the east side of S. 10th Street from the south curb line of W. Mitchell Street to a point approximately 150 feet south thereof, from 9 A.M. to 6 P.M., except on Friday from 9 A.M. to 9 P.M.”
“On the west side of S. 10th Street from the south curb line of W. Mitchell Street south to the north line of the east-west alley south of W. Mitchell Street, from 9 A.M. to 6 P.M., except on Friday from 9 A.M. to 9 P.M.”
Part 4. Section 101-32-3-c-2 of the code relating to one-hour meter parking is amended by adding the following:
On the east side of South 7th Street from West Mitchell Street to a point 150 feet north from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Tuesday through Thursday, Monday and Friday to 9:00 PM
