Substitute resolution relating to renumbering of election wards that comprise the 2004 aldermanic districts.

This resolution renumbers election wards in a consecutive manner based on the 2004 aldermanic districts-15-per statutory requirements.

Whereas, The Common Council has passed File Number 021316, thereby changing the number of aldermanic districts from 17 to 15, effective with the spring 2004 election; and
Whereas, In order to streamline the administration of election operations, wards numbers need to be renumbered with ward one in aldermanic district one and continuing consecutively so that the last ward number 314 is located in aldermanic district 15; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the City of Milwaukee's ward plan be technically corrected so that the wards are renumbered consecutively in the following manner:
