Analysis
Common Council Resolution Number 020210, adopted June 4, 2002 directed the City Comptroller to establish accounts for preliminary engineering for the Marsupial Bridge project. This resolution authorizes expenditures to cover the shortfall for preliminary engineering. The additional funds will be funded by the Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality (CMAQ) grant, with the local share being funded by Tax Incremental District 22 funds.

Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted Resolution Number 020210 on June 4, 2002 which established funding for preliminary engineering for the Marsupial Bridge project totaling $330,000; and
Whereas, The design contract negotiated with Bloom Consultants is in the amount of $379,718; and
Whereas, The CMAQ grant allows us to transfer construction funds to preliminary engineering accounts; and
Whereas, Tax Incremental District 22 funds will fund the local share of the grant; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the City Comptroller is directed to transfer into the previously established preliminary engineering accounts for the Marsupial Bridge project the following amounts:
