Title
Resolution permitting a minor modification to the Detailed Planned Development (DPD) known as Teweles Seed, located on the North Side of West Oregon Street and East of South 3rd Street, in the 12th Aldermanic District. (DCD)
Analysis
This resolution will allow for modifications to the building materials and roof sign that were not part of the previously approved detailed plan.
Body
Whereas, Section 295-907(i) of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances permits modifications to planned developments after approval of the Common Council; and
Whereas, The detailed plan for a planned development known as Teweles Seed was approved by the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee on October 1, 2002, under File No. 010724; and
Whereas, The developer is requesting to modify the previously approved plans to allow for the change in materials from poured concrete to steel siding on new portions of the building and repairs to the rooftop sign; and
Whereas, The proposed modifications to the building materials and repairs to the rooftop sign are consistent with the spirit and intent of the approved detailed plan, will not adversely affect surrounding development and a copy of which is attached to this Common Council File as Exhibit A which is on file in the office of the City Clerk and made a part as though fully set forth herein; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the minor modification to allow for modifications to the site plan that were not previously approved as part of the Detailed Planned Development are approved.
