Whereas, The Village of West Milwaukee is a retail water customer of the Milwaukee Water Works, and
Whereas, The Village has inquired if Milwaukee has the capability to include West Milwaukee's sewer charges on the water bills, and
Whereas, The Water Works has the capability to include sewer charges on the West Milwaukee water bills and quoted a price of $1.25 per bill issued, plus a $5,000.00 one-time charge for software modifications and data entry, and
Whereas, The Village of West Milwaukee adopted Resolution No. 10-R-2002 on October 7, 2002 formally requesting Milwaukee to implement the sewer billing procedure; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Milwaukee Water Works is hereby authorized and directed to implement a sewer billing procedure on behalf of the Village of West Milwaukee and charge the Village a one-time start-up fee of $5,000.00 plus ongoing charges of $1.25 per bill issued.
