Substitute resolution approving levying of assessments and construction of assessable public improvement projects at various locations.
Analysis
This resolution confirms the report of the Commissioner of Public Works, as modified by the Common Council Committee, on projects for which Public Hearings have been held. The resolution authorizes the levying of special assessments and directs the installation and construction of said public improvements.
Body
Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted preliminary resolutions, determining it necessary and in the public interest to construct and levy special assessments for the following improvements:

1st, 6th, and 10th Aldermanic Districts

W. Capitol Dr. – N. Green Bay Ave. to N. 35th St. (2025-07-00)(ST32000901) File Number 991982: Concrete pavement reconstruction, replace all curb and gutter, replace sidewalk and driveway approaches where needed, sodding, and grading. (State or Federal Funds -- $3,660,133; State/Federal Grantor Paving Fund -- $581,848; Assessable State Aid Fund -- $165,000; Nonassessable State Aid Fund -- $529,127). These funds are to be transferred to the construction account ST32000910.

4th Aldermanic District

Alley between N. Broadway, E. Michigan St., N. Milwaukee St., and E. Wisconsin Ave. (ST212030119) File Number 011484: Concrete alley pavement reconstruction, replace some abutting walk or driveway approaches, grading, and storm drainage facilities where needed. (Assessable Alley Paving Fund -- $27,800; Nonassessable Alley Paving Fund -- $11,000)
