Analysis
This resolution will dedicate City-owned land for public alley purposes to widen the west leg of the east-west alley in the block bounded by West Concordia Avenue, West Keefe Avenue, North 9th Street and North 10th Street
Body
Whereas, The City of Milwaukee has title, by tax foreclosure, to a certain parcel of land located at 3444 North 10th Street; and

Whereas, In 1997 the west leg of the subject alley was improved and widened to a width of 20 feet with a 5-foot by 5-foot cut off at its intersection with the north-south alley thereby placing the alley pavement on said City-owned land; and

Whereas, The land required to widen the subject alley right-of-way has not been dedicated for such purposes; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the following described City-owned land hereby is set aside and dedicated for public alley purposes:

That part of Lot 10 in Block 8 of Milwaukee Savings and Investment Association Subdivision No. 2, a recorded subdivision, in the Southwest ΒΌ of Section 8, Township 7 North, Range 22 East, described as follows: Commencing at the northwest corner of Lot 10; thence Southerly, along the west line of Lot 10, to a point lying 10.00 feet south of, as measured normal to, the north line of Lot 10; thence Easterly, parallel to said north line, to a point lying 5.00 feet west of, as measured normal to, the east line of Lot 10; thence Southeasterly to a point in said east line, said point lying 15.00 feet south of, as measured normal to, said north line; thence Northerly, along said east line, to the northeast corner ...
