Whereas, There will be a shortage in the Damages & Claims Fund; and
Whereas, Budgeted funds are insufficient because of some large settlements and judgments that have been approved or have been submitted for approval; and
Whereas, Additional funding is necessary to fulfill the City's legal obligations; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, That the sum of $300,000 is hereby appropriated from the Common Council Contingent Fund Account No. 0001-9990-0001-C001-006300-2002 to the Damages & Claims Fund Account No. 0001-1490-2631-S118-006300-2002.
