Substitute resolution relative to the additional CDBG allocation to the Community Block Grant Administration.

Body
Whereas, The Director of the Community Block Grant Administration has announced retirement plans; and
Whereas, The Community Block Grant Administration must pay the retiree for all earned unpaid time; and
Whereas, When a new CBGA Director is appointed by the Mayor and approved by the Common Council the Community Block Grant Administration must be able to sustain continued operation of the agency; and
Whereas, CBGA has requested the additional award of $51,000 to cover these costs; now therefore, be it
Resolved, The the Community Develoment Committee has agreed to award the Community Block Grant Administration the amount of $51,000. The funds will be taken from the CDBG Contingency Account; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the project must complete a budget and activity report according to any conditions approved by the Common Council and the Mayor in conformance with File Number 74-92-5v for review and approval; and, be it
Further Resolved, That payments for CDBG cost incurred shall be paid in accordance with approved CDBG reimbursement policy based on the approval by the Community Block Grant Administration and City Comptroller of a Budget Forecast (CDA-51).
