Title

Substitute resolution permitting a minor modification to the Detailed Planned Development (DPD) known as St. Luke's Medical Center, Phase 1, located on the West Side of South 27th Street and North of West Oklahoma Avenue, in the 8th Aldermanic District.

Analysis

This substitute resolution will allow for the installation of a canopy sign at the entrance of the patient tower that was not part of the previously approved detailed plan.

Body

Whereas, The detailed plan for a planned development known as St. Luke's Medical Center, Phase 1, was approved by the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee on April 10, 2001, under File No. 000549; and

Whereas, Aurora Health Care is requesting to modify the previously approved plans to allow for the installation of a canopy sign at the entrance of the patient tower; and

Whereas, The proposed canopy sign is consistent with the spirit and intent of the approved detailed plan, will not adversely affect surrounding development and a copy of which is attached to this Common Council File as Exhibit A which is on file in the office of the City Clerk and made a part as though fully set forth herein; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the minor modification to allow for the installation of a canopy sign that was not previously approved as part of the Detailed Planned Development is approved.
