Minutes note: Nonrenewal of the Class "D" Bartender license for the following individuals: John J. Bennett, Carol E. Cavanaugh, Jessica A. Drake, Manuel Espino, Oralia Hernandez, William J. Kretlow, Lazarus P. Koutromanos, Sammie D. Love, John W. Neubecker, Anita M. Reyna, Abel Santos, Cheryl A. Stiff, Joshua D. Stouff, Joe W. Swan and Hilary A. Wanta Nonrenewal of a Class "B" Tavern application for Arturo Martinez for the premises at 1704 S. Pearl Street. ("Taqueria Neza") Renewal of a Class "B" tavern application with a 10- day suspension and nonrenewal of a Tavern Dance application for Charles E. Spahn, agent for "I.J.D.M., Inc." for the premises at 2800 W. Forest Home Ave. ("McGinty's") Ald. Pawlinski moved to amend the deny list by striking the following names from Bartender list: Abel Santos, Manuel Espino and Sammie Love thereby returning said application back to the Utilities and Licenses Committee. The motion prevailed. The President questioned whether the members of the Common Council read the Report and Recommendations of the Utilities and Licenses Committee in this matter and any written exceptions, if filed by the licensee? Ayes: 16 - Ald. Herron, D'Amato, Henningsen, Bohl, Johnson-Odom, Gordon, Donovan, Richards, Dudzik, Sanchez, Pawlinski, Breier, Nardelli, Murphy, Hines and President Pratt. Noes: 0. THE CLERK asked whether the applicants or their counsel were present (Clerk read each applicants name) and wished to address the Council. Anita Reyna was present. Hilary Wanta was present Charles Span was present. ALD. RICHARDS moved that the Common Council do now resolve itself into a committee of the Whole for the purpose of hearing from applicants who were present and the City Attorney's Office relative to the foregoing matter. The motion prevailed. PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE Attorney Daniel S. Welytok representing Anita Reynosa and Assistant City Attorney Bruce Schrimpf appeared and addressed the committee relative to the foregoing matter. PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE Hilary Wanta and Assistant City Attorney Bruce Schrimpf appeared and addressed the committee relative to the foregoing matter. PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE Charles Span and Assistant City Attorney Bruce Schrimpf appeared and addressed the committee relative to the foregoing matter. ALD. SANCHEZ moved that the committee do now rise. The motion prevailed. ALD. PAWLINSKI moved for approval of file 020697 as amended. The motion prevailed by the following vote: Ayes: 16 - Ald.
