Resolution approving the Land Disposition Report for the properties at 1895, 1901 and a portion of 1983 North Commerce Street for conveyance by the Redevelopment Authority to the City of Milwaukee for park development and to authorize subsequent lease of these and the adjoining park to the COA Youth and Family Services, in the 6th Aldermanic District. Analysis
This resolution will permit the Redevelopment Authority to convey said land according to the conditions in the Land Disposition Report and authorize the City of Milwaukee to enter into a lease.
Body
Whereas, On July 18, 2002, the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Milwaukee held a Public Hearing on the proposed conveyance of land as required by Wisconsin Statutes; and
Whereas, Pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes and as a condition precedent to the sale, lease or transfer of land, the Redevelopment Authority submits herewith a Land Disposition Report describing the terms and conditions of the proposed conveyance; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Land Disposition Report dated July 18, 2002, with respect to the proposed conveyance of the following properties is approved.

PARCEL ADDRESSES
1895, 1901 and a portion of 1983 North Commerce Street

; and, be it
Further Resolved, That after conveyance of these properties to the City of Milwaukee and assemblage with Kilbourn Park, the proper officials of the City of Milwaukee are authorized to execute a lease with COA Youth and Family Services for Kilbourn Park South as specified in the Land Disposition Report.
