Title
Resolution permitting a minor modification to the Detailed Planned Development (DPD) known as the Northside YMCA and Youth Leadership Academy, located on the North Side of West North Avenue and West of North Teutonia Avenue, in the 17th Aldermanic District. (DCD)
Analysis
This resolution will allow for monument and wall sign revisions that were not part of the previously approved detailed plan.
Body
Whereas, Section 295-814(5) of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances permits modifications to planned developments after approval of the Common Council; and
Whereas, The detailed plan for a planned development known as Northside YMCA and Youth Leadership Academy was approved by the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee on April 10, 2001, under File No. 001540; and
Whereas, The owner proposes to install a non-scrolling LED reader board to the monument sign and an additional wall sign that is consistent with the previously approved wall signs; and
Whereas, The proposed use is consistent with the spirit and intent of the approved detailed plan, will not adversely affect surrounding development and a copy of which is attached to this Common Council File as Exhibit A which is on file in the office of the City Clerk and made a part as though fully set forth herein; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the minor modification to allow for the installation of a non-scrolling LED reader board to the monument sign and an additional wall sign that is consistent with the previously approved wall signs both of which were not previously approved as part of the Detailed Planned Development are approved.
