Analysis
This ordinance prohibits the parking of a tow truck on a lot in any single-family, 2-family or multi-family zoning district unless the tow truck is parked inside a building. A tow truck is defined as a vehicle equipped with mechanical or hydraulic lifting devices or winches capable of, and used for, the recovery and transport or both of wrecked, disabled, abandoned, used or replacement vehicles.

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 295-7-178.3 of the code is created to read:
295-7. Definitions.
178.3. TOW TRUCK: A motor vehicle that is equipped with mechanical or hydraulic lifting devices or winches capable of, and used for, the recovery and transport or both of wrecked, disabled, abandoned, used or replacement vehicles.
Part 2. Section 295-75-1.5-g of the code is renumbered 295-75-1.5-h.
Part 3. Section 295-75-1.5-g of the code is created to read:
295-75. Parking Standards.
1.5. STANDARDS AND LIMITATIONS.
g. No tow truck may be parked on a lot in a single, 2-family or multi-family district unless the tow truck is parked inside a building.
