Analysis
This ordinance will change the zoning for this area to implement a comprehensive revitalization project that includes new housing.
Body
Resolved, That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1. There is added to the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances a new section to read as follows:

Section 295-130(10).0028. The zoning map is amended to change the zoning for the area bounded by the centerline of North 36th Street, the centerline of West McKinley Avenue, the centerline of North 39th Street and a line 120 feet North and parallel to the north line of West McKinley Avenue; and

The area bounded by the centerline of West McKinley Avenue, the centerline of North 40th Street, a line 120 feet North and parallel to the north line of West McKinley Avenue and a line 153.2 feet East and parallel to the east line of North 40th Street, from Manufacturing (M/C/60) to Multi-Family Residence (R/D/40); and, be it

Further Resolved, That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee are in the process of creating a new zoning code and zoning map for the city, which will become effective on October 1, 2002; and, be it

Further Resolved, That upon the effective date of the new zoning code and map, the zoning map is amended to change the zoning for the area bounded by the centerline of North 36th Street, the centerline of West McKinley Avenue, the centerline of North 39th Street and a line 120 feet North and parallel to the north line of West McKinley Avenue; and
