Body
Whereas, The property located at 2462 West Brown Street, tax key number 350-2371-100-X previously owned by George Davis, has delinquent taxes for 1999 - 2001 and was foreclosed upon pursuant to Sec. 75.521, Wis. Stats., and a fee simple absolute was obtained in favor of the City of Milwaukee dated March 25, 2002; and

Whereas, George Davis would like to reclaim said property by paying all City and County real estate taxes, plus accrued interest and penalties to date of payment, and all costs as sustained by the City in the foreclosing and management of said property since March 25, 2002; and

Whereas, The Department of Neighborhood Services indicates currently there are pending orders and $125 in pending reinspection fees on the property that Mr. Davis owns at 2483 West Brown; and

Whereas, The City Treasurer's records show outstanding 1999 - 2001 taxes, plus interest, penalties and costs; and

Whereas, The Department of City Development reports that this property is not suitable for use by a public agency or community based organization but objects to its return. The property was previously foreclosed in 1997 and it is located in the Habitat Project area.
