Analysis
This ordinance corrects a boundary description for a previously approved change in zoning.
Body
Whereas, On December 15, 2000, the Common Council approved the change in zoning from Multi-Family Residence (R/C/40) to a Detailed Planned Development (DPD) known as Meta House, located on the West Side of North 1st Street and South of East Chambers Street; and
 
Whereas, The boundary description did not reflect the entire extent of the proposed zoning change, but did include the entire public hearing notification area; now, therefore, be it
 
Resolved, That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
 
Part 1. There is added to the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances a new section to read as follows:
 
Section 295-810(2)(b).0155. The zoning map is amended to change the zoning for the area bounded by the centerline of North 1st Street, a line 195 feet South and parallel to the south line of East Chambers Street, a line 160 feet West and parallel to the west line of North 1st Street, a line 400.26 feet South and parallel to the south line of East Chambers Street, from Multi-Family Residence (R/C/40) to Detailed Planned Development (DPD).
