Title
Substitute resolution reversing the Historic Preservation Commission's action denying a certificate of appropriateness for door installations at 2813 N. Sherman Boulevard.
Analysis
This resolution reverses the April 15, 2002, decision of the Historic Preservation Commission denying a certificate of appropriateness for a request to install a rear metal security door and garage service door at 2813 N. Sherman Boulevard.  This resolution would, in effect, permit such door installations to proceed.
Body
Whereas, The owner of this property has requested a certificate of appropriateness for the purpose of installing a rear metal security door and garage service door at the property located at 2813 N. Sherman Boulevard; and
 
Whereas, The Historic Preservation Commission, on April 15, 2002, rejected this request after a public hearing; and
 
Whereas, The owner of this property, pursuant to s. 308-81-9-f of the Milwaukee Code, is entitled to appeal this decision of the Historic Preservation Commission to the Common Council, and has filed a request for a hearing of his appeal in a timely manner; now, therefore, be it
 
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the April 15, 2002, decision of the Historic Preservation Commission denying a certificate of appropriateness for door installations at 2813 N. Sherman Boulevard is reversed.
