Title
Resolution relating to the composition of the Truancy Abatement Task Force.
Analysis
This resolution adds to the composition of the Truancy Abatement Task Force (established by Common Council File Number 011458, adopted March 5, 2002) by adding a representative of the Wisconsin State Legislature to be appointed by the Common Council President. The task force currently has 11 members.

Whereas, Common Council File Number 011458, adopted March 5, 2002, created an 11-member Truancy Abatement Task Force to consider the problem of truancy in the City of Milwaukee and recommend possible remedies; and
Whereas, The Common Council now desires to expand the membership of the task force to include a representative of the Wisconsin State Legislature; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that Common Council File Number 011458 is amended by replacing the numeral "11" with the numeral "12" in the "Resolved" clause and by deleting the first numbered paragraph in the same "Resolved" clause and inserting in lieu thereof:
"1. 2 members of the Common Council and a member of the Wisconsin State Legislature to be appointed by the Council President."
