Title
Substitute resolution permitting a minor modification to the Detailed Planned Development (DPD) known as Walton's Calumet Square, located at 7701 West Calumet Road, in the 9th Aldermanic District.
Analysis
This substitute resolution will allow for the use of the parking lot for the sale or lease of new and used motor vehicles in June 2002.
Body
Whereas, Section 295-814(5) of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances permits modifications to planned developments after approval of the Common Council; and
Whereas, The detailed plan for a planned development known as Walton's Calumet Square was approved by the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee on December 21, 1990, under File No. 901099 and a minor modification to permit car sales was approved by the Common Council on May 19, 2000, under File No. 991965; and
Whereas, The developer proposes to use the Northwest corner of the parking lot for the sale and lease of new and used motor vehicles from Thursday, June 6, 2002 through Saturday, June 8, 2002 from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on June 6 and 7, 2002 and from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on June 8, 2002; and
Whereas, The proposed use is consistent with the spirit and intent of the approved detailed plan, will not adversely affect surrounding development and a copy of which is attached to this Common Council File as Exhibit A which is on file in the office of the City Clerk and made a part as though fully set forth herein; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the minor modification to allow for the use of the Northwest corner of the parking lot for the sale and lease of new and used motor vehicles from Thursday, June 6, 2002 through Saturday, June 8, 2002 from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on June 6 and 7, 2002 and from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on June 8, 2002 that was not previously approved as part of the Detailed Planned Deve...
