Analysis
This resolution will result in the sale of seven lots for residential construction.
Body
Whereas, CCTR Group, Inc., has submitted unsolicited Offers to Purchase in the total amount of $800 for the following vacant lots for construction of single-family homes and sale to first-time home buyers:

1432 West Chambers Street, Tax Key No. 311-2308-1

1434-36 West Chambers Street, Tax Key No. 311-2307-6

1440 West Chambers Street, Tax Key No. 311-2306-0

1519-21 West Burleigh Street, Tax Key No. 311-0311-1

1523-25 West Burleigh Street, Tax Key No. 311-0312-7

3049 North 14th Street, Tax Key No. 311-0403-1

3053-55 North 14th Street, Tax Key No. 311-0402-6

; and

Whereas, The Department of City Development ("DCD") recommends acceptance of said Offers contingent upon the following:

1. Building and site plan approval by DCD's Development Center.

2. A financial commitment in place to complete the project as proposed.

3. Closing must occur within 90 days of Common Council adoption of this resolution.

4. Construction must be completed within one year from the date of closing.

Whereas, Sale of said lots will be in an "as is" condition without representations or warranties including but not limited to soil quality and subsurface condition; and

Whereas, The City Plan Commission has determined that said lots are surplus to municipal needs; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that said lots are declared surplus, that said Offers are accepted, that the proper City officials are authorized and directed to perform such acts as necessary to carry out the intent ...
