Body
Whereas, The City and the County of Milwaukee believe that the installation of a new traffic signal is appropriate because several of the warrants for traffic control signal installation contained in the Federal Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices were met; and
Whereas, The issues of cost sharing, responsibility, and liability will be described and agreed to in this agreement; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Commissioner of Public Works be and hereby is authorized and directed to enter into an agreement between the City of Milwaukee and Milwaukee County's Department of Parks, Recreation, and Culture for the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of a new traffic control signal at the intersection of West Kinnickinnic River Parkway and South 43rd Street.
