Analysis
Effective July 1, 2002, Comm. 14, Wis. Adm. Code, permits municipalities to adopt the International Fire Code - 2000 in lieu of the NFPA 1, Fire Prevention Code - 2000.  In order to do this, a municipality must adopt specific chapters of the International Fire Code as a minimum, by ordinance. This ordinance adopts the specific, minimum chapters which must be adopted, in addition to other chapters that the city deems necessary.
