Title
A substitute ordinance relating to parking controls in various Aldermanic Districts.
Analysis
This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements in various parts of the
City.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 101-23-2 of the Code relating to No Stopping is amended by adding the following:
On the east side of South 4th Street from South Chase Avenue to a point 140 feet north
On the east side of South 4th Street from a point 140 feet north of South Chase Avenue to West Hayes Avenue on school days from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM except buses
Part 2. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the south side of West Pittsburgh Avenue from a point 40 feet east of South 19th Street to a point 455 feet further east thereof at any time"
"On the west side of North Market Street from a point 110 feet south of the south line of East Kilbourn Avenue to a point 122 feet south between the hours of 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM"
"On the east side of North 27th Street from a point 125 feet south of the south curb line of West North Avenue to a point 47 feet south thereof at any time"
"On the west side of North 12th Street from the north curb line of West Galena Street to a point 45 feet south thereof at any time"
"On the south side of West Walnut Street from North 31st Street to 120 feet east thereof from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday"
"On the east side of North 19th Street from West Olive Street to a point 200 feet south thereof except for driver training cars from 7:30 AM to 8:30 PM from June 22nd to August 15th"
Part 3. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by adding the following:
On West Pittsburgh Avenue from South 16th Street to South 19th Street at any time
On the west side of North Market Street from a point 110 feet south of East Kilbourn Avenue to a point 30 feet south except motorcycles
On the north side of West Roosevelt Drive from the alley east of North Teutonia Avenue to a point 80 feet east
On the north side of West Michigan Street from North 35th Street to a point 35 feet east at any time
Part 4. Section 101-23-4-c of the Code relating to One Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the north side of West Center Street from North 39th Street to North 40th Street"
Part 5. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On West Wright Street from North 33rd Street to North 35th Street on odd calendar dates from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday "
"On North 13th Street between West Clarke Street and West Center Street from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM on school days except the portion of the block covered by the playground ordinance on the west side of the street and the school ordinance on the east side of the street"
"On North 16th Street from West Capitol Drive to West Olive Street from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on regular school days"
"On the east side of North 27th Street from the south curb line of West Roosevelt Drive to a point 450 feet south thereof from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM"
"On North 3rd Street between West Vienna Avenue and West Nash Street except Saturday"
"On East Belleview Place from North Farwell Avenue to North Maryland Avenue"
"On the south side of the service drive on the south side of West Capitol Drive from North 86th Street to North 88th Street from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday"
Part 6. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:
On North Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive from West Wright Street to West Center Street
On North Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive from West Hadley Street to West Locust Street
On South 33rd Street from West Montana Street to West Dakota Street
