Title
Substitute ordinance to further amend the 2002 rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service under control of the Common Council.

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 2 of ordinance File Number 010467 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under salary grade 009, delete the title "Disease Control and Prevention Manager."
Under salary grade 011, add the title "Disease Control and Prevention Manager."
Part 2. Section 11 of ordinance File Number 010467 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 1, 2001 - December 24, 2000):
Eliminate the rate of pay shown for Pay Ranges 635 through 644 and substitute the following in lieu thereof:
"Pay Range 635

Part 3. Section 11 of ordinance File Number 010467 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 1, 2002 - December 23, 2001):
Eliminate the rate of pay shown for Pay Ranges 635 through 644 and substitute the following in lieu thereof:

Part 4 Section 25 of ordinance File Number 010467 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 12, 2002 - May 26, 2002):
Delete the hourly rates of pay shown and substitute in lieu thereof the following official hourly rates of pay:

Part 5. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Part 6. The provisions of Part 2 of this ordinance are deemed to have been in force and effect from and after Pay Period 1, 2001 (December 24, 2000).
The provisions of Part 3 of this ordinance are deemed to have been in force and effect from and after Pay Period 1, 2002 (December 23, 2001).
The provisions of Part 4 of this ordinance are deemed to have been in force and effect from and after Pay Period 12, 2002 (May 26, 2002).
The provisions of all other parts of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after the first day of the first pay period following passage and publication.
Part 7. The provisions of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after the first day of the first pay period following passage and publication.
Part 8. This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
