Title
A substitute ordinance relating to parking controls in various Aldermanic Districts.
Analysis
This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements in various parts of the
City.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 101-23-2 of the Code relating to No Stopping is amended by adding the following:
On the west side of North 79th Street from West Burleigh Street south to the alley at any time
Part 2. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the west side of North 79th Street from West Burleigh Street south to the alley at any time"
"On the east side of North 18th Street from the south curb line of West Hampton Avenue to a point 60 feet south thereof at any time"
"On the east side of North Fratney Street from the north curb line of East Vienna Avenue to a point approximately 300 feet north thereof at any time"
"On the south side of West Burnham Street from South 37th Street west to the city limits at any time"
"On the north side of East Kenwood Boulevard from the west curb line of North Oakland Avenue to a point 170 feet west thereof at any time"
"On the north side of East Kenwood Boulevard from North Oakland Avenue to North Bartlett Avenue at any time"
"On the east side of North 33rd Street from West Meinecke Avenue to West Center Street from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM except Saturday and Sunday and where No Parking is in effect"
"On North 9th Street from the south curb line of West Locust Street to a point 60 feet south thereof at any time"
"On the west side of North 24th Street from the south line of West Wells Street to a point 60 feet south thereof"
Part 3. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the west side of North 37th Street from West Juneau Avenue to a point 80 feet south at any time
On the east side of West Fond du Lac Avenue from North 21st Street to a point 150 feet northwest at any time
Part 4. Section 101-23-4-c of the Code relating to One Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the south side of West Walnut Street from a point 160 feet east of the east curb line of North 12th Street to North 11th Street from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM except on Monday and Friday from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM"
Part 5. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On North 12th Street from West Lloyd Street to West Garfield Avenue"
"On North 26th Street between West North Avenue and West Meinecke Avenue between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM"
"On the west side of North 29th Street from West Meinecke Avenue to West Clarke Street from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on odd calendar dates except Saturday and Sunday"
"On North 13th Street between West Clybourn Street and West Michigan Street"
"On the north side of West Becher Street from South 35th Street to the first north/south alley west thereof from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday"
"On South 61st Street from West Morgan Avenue to West Eden Place from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday"
Part 6. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the south side of West Capitol Drive from North 83rd Street to North 84th Street
Part 7. Section 101-23-4-e of the Code relating to Three Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On North 33rd Street between West Vliet Street and West McKinley Boulevard"
Part 8. Section 101-23-9 of the Code relating to Horse and Surrey Stands is amended by adding the following:
On the east side of North Old World Third Street from West Kilbourn Avenue to a point 60 feet north from 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM and all day Saturday and Sunday
On the south side of West Michigan Street from North 3rd Street to a point 60 feet west from 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM and all day Saturday and Sunday
On the north side of East Wells Street from North Jackson Street to a point 60 feet west from 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM and all day Saturday and Sunday
Part 9. Section 101-23-10-a of the Code relating to Winter Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the east side of North 24th Street from West Capitol Drive to West Hope Avenue
On the east side of North 24th Place from West Capitol Drive to West Hope Avenue
Part 10. Section 101-24-1 of the Code relating to Tow-Away Zones is amended by adding the following:
On the west side of North 79th Street from West Burleigh Street south to the alley
Part 11. Section 101-27-9 of the Code relating to Night Parking Exceptions is amended by striking the following:
"On East Kenwood Boulevard from North Oakland Avenue to North Cambridge Avenue"
