Whereas, The applicant desires to place and maintain a covered walk at 1114 North Water Street that will encroach into the public right-of-way; and
Whereas, Our field investigation revealed that there are brackets attached to the building that have been and still are intended to be used for civic interest flags; and
Whereas, Said covered walk and brackets and flags may only legally occupy the public right-of-way by the granting of a special privilege resolution by the Common Council; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that Market Street Partners II LLP Attn. John Silseth, 322 East Michigan Street, STE 275, Milwaukee, WI 53202, is hereby granted the following special privileges:
1. To keep and maintain a covered walk at the property known as 1114 North Water Street. Said covered walk, 6 feet in width, is centered approximately 140 feet south of the southline of West Juneau Avenue and encroaches approximately 9 feet 7 inches into the 12-foot wide sidewalk area on the east side of North Water Street at the 1114 North Water Street address.
