Analysis
This resolution will result in the sale of a surplus-size, vacant, tax-deed lot.
Body
Whereas, Mr. and Ms. Robinson with their property located at 3341 North 10th Street offered to purchase 20 feet of the vacant, tax-deed lot located at 3337 North 10th Street for the amount of $1 and Mr. and Ms. Kilgore with their property located at 3329 North 10th Street offered to purchase the remaining 30 feet of said lot for the amount of $1, which will give both owners an equal lot size; and
 
Whereas, Should either Buyer not fulfill the intent of this resolution, the entire lot may be sold to the other adjoining owner for the full purchase price of $2; and
 
Whereas, The Department of City Development recommends sale in an "as is" condition without representations or warranties including but not limited to soil quality and subsurface condition; and
 
Whereas, The City Plan Commission has determined that said lot is surplus to municipal needs; now, therefore, be it
 
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that said lot is declared surplus; and, be it
 
Further Resolved, That said Offers to Purchase are accepted and that the proper City officials are authorized and directed to perform such acts as necessary to carry out the intent of this resolution with the proceeds from sale credited to the Reserve For Tax Deficit Fund Account No. 0001-334106.
