Analysis
This resolution authorizes and approves a contract for collection services for the collection of receivables of the City of Milwaukee.
Body
Whereas, On July 2, 2001, the Common Council passed a resolution, file no. 010212 authorizing the City Attorney to request proposals for the contract for the collection of the City of Milwaukee receivables. The City Attorney advertised for responses to the Request for Proposals for the collection of receivables of the City of Milwaukee on October 24, 2001, October 31, 2001 and November 7, 2001, in the Daily Reporter; on October 26, 2001, November 2, 2001 and November 9, 2001 in the Business Journal; and on October 24, 2001, October 31, 2001 and November 7, 2001 in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. The City Attorney has reviewed the four proposals received and recommends the City enter into a contract with the Kohn Law Firm, S.C. for the collection of the City receivables.
