Title
Substitute ordinance relating to the change in zoning in various locations throughout the City of Milwaukee due to a revision of the City's zoning code.
Analysis
This ordinance will change the zoning districts designated on the zoning maps throughout the City of Milwaukee to correspond with the revised City zoning code.
Body
Whereas, The Department of City Development has prepared and revised the zoning maps throughout the City of Milwaukee to correspond with the revised City zoning code, which includes both base zoning districts as well as overlay districts; now, therefore
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Effective October 1, 2002, the official City of Milwaukee zoning map in effect as of September 30, 2002, is replaced by the zoning map which is attached to and made a part of this file.
Part 2. All overlay districts in place as of September 30, 2002, shall remain in place as overlay zones on October 1, 2002, and until such time as they are modified or deleted.
Part 3. All lands zoned LF/C/60 (Lakefront) as of September 30, 2002, shall have the lakefront overlay zone designation (LF) as of October 1, 2002.
