Title

Analysis
This resolution will result in the sale of a vacant, tax-deed lot.
Body
Whereas, Mr. and Ms. Parsons with their property located at 4611 West Stark Street will purchase 30 feet of the vacant, tax-deed lot located at 4617 West Stark Street for the amount of $1,800 and Mr. and Ms. Taylor with their property located at 4623 West Stark Street will purchase 15 feet of said lot for the amount of $900; and
 
Whereas, Should either adjoining owner not fulfill the intent of this resolution, the entire lot may be sold to the remaining adjoining owner for the full purchase price of $2,700; and
 
Whereas, The Department of City Development recommends sale in an "as is" condition without representations or warranties including but not limited to soil quality and subsurface condition; and
 
Whereas, The City Plan Commission has determined that said lot is surplus to municipal needs; now, therefore, be it
 
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that said lot is declared surplus; and, be it
 
Further Resolved, That said Offers to Purchase are accepted and that the proper City officials are authorized and directed to perform such acts as necessary to carry out the intent of this resolution with the proceeds from the sale of said lot credited to the Reserve For Tax Deficit Fund Account No. 0001-334106.
