Title

Substitute ordinance to further amend the 2001 offices and positions in the City Service under control of the Common Council.

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1.  Section 1 of ordinance File Number 000508 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:

Under "Department of City Development, General Management and Policy Development Decision Unit, Urban Development Section", delete one position of "Neighborhood Development Specialist (X) (Y)", and add one position of "Economic Development Specialist (X) (Y)."

Under "Health Department, Breast Cancer Awareness Program Grant (U)", delete one position of "X-Ray Technician III (NN) (U)(X)"; under "Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening Grant (JJ)" add one position of "X-Ray Technician III (NN) (U) (JJ) (X)" and amend footnote (JJ) as follows: "To expire 09/30/02 unless the Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening Grant, available from the State of Wisconsin Division of Health and Family Services, is extended."

Part 2.  All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

Part 3.  The provisions of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after the first day of the first pay period following passage and publication.

Part 4.  This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
