Title

Substitute ordinance to further amend the 2001 offices and positions in the City Service under control of the Common Council.

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1.  Section 1 of ordinance File Number 000508 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:

Under "Employes' Retirement System, Management Support Services", delete one position of "Administrative Assistant III" and add one position of "Office Supervisor II."

Under "Health Department, Home Environmental Health Division, Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program (W)", delete one position of Health Project Assistant (W)" and add one position of "Lead Program Information Specialist (W)"; under "Health Department, Health Access and Adult Health, Occupational Health Program", delete one position of "Clinic Assistant (X)" and add one position of "Occupational Health Technician (X)"; under "Health Department, Sexually Transmitted Disease Clinic, Intervention to Prevent the Spread of Aids (K)", delete one position of "Office Assistant II (.5 FTE) (K)" and add one position of "Office Assistant III (K)" and amended footnote "(K)" as follows: "To expire 8/30/02 unless the Intervention to Prevent the Spread of AIDS Grant, available from the Medical College of Wisconsin, is extended. Also, fund .5 FTE of Nurse Practitioner in the STD/HIV Prevention Training Grant".

Part 2.  All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

Part 3.  The provisions of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after the first day of the first pay period following passage and publication.

Part 4.  This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
