Analysis
This resolution extends the release of CDBG Large Impact Development Funds for the Christ the King Project (a Community Education Quality of Life Center) to December 20, 2001.
Body
Whereas, The Common Council in 1998 adopted a policy relating in part to extending the release of CDBG Large Impact Development (LID) Funds in cases where a funding gap exists; and
 
Whereas, A funding gap exists with respect to the Christ the King Project which received $190,478 to support construction of a Community Education Quality of Life Center, and a request has been submitted by Christ the King Church to extend the release of CDBG LID funds pursuant to LID policy; now, therefore, be it
 
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that pursuant to CDBG LID policy, an extension for release of funds for the Christ the King Project is granted to expire December 20, 2001.
