Analysis

This resolution will authorize a supplemental appropriation of $100,000 the Developer Financed Sewer Project Grant Account SW172010000-0327.

Body

Whereas, Common Council Resolution File No. 881665 adopted December 20, 1988, provides that appropriation authority for anticipated gross expenditures regardless of the sources of funds shall be provided in the Capital Budget; and

Whereas, For the 2001 budget, the developer financed appropriation for developer financed sewer projects was provided in the amount of $500,000; and

Whereas, Developer financed sewer projects require an additional amount which exceeds that provided in the 2001 budget appropriation for this purpose; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that procedure as outlined in Common Council Resolution File No. 881665 adopted December 20, 1988, with respect to financing Developer Financed Sewer Projects shall be waived for the year 2001 to allow Developer Financed Sewer Projects of $100,000 in excess of the 2001 budgeted amounts to be undertaken; and, be it

Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller be and he hereby is authorized and directed to establish an appropriate account for this purpose which will record the financing of the additional Developer Financed Sewer Projects for 2001 by means of anticipated receipts from developer deposits.
