Title
Substitute resolution to vacate a portion of the East leg of alley in the block bounded by West Lisbon Avenue, West Wright Street, North 50th Street and North 51st Street, in the 17th Aldermanic District.
Analysis
This substitute resolution vacates the above portion of alley in accordance with vacation proceedings under power granted to the City of Milwaukee by Section 66.297(1), Wisconsin Statutes, and Section 81-308-28, Milwaukee Code of Ordinances. This vacation was requested by Lisbon Storm, Screen & Door, Inc. for expansion of their current business.
Body
Whereas, It is proposed that a portion of the East leg of alley in the block bounded by West Lisbon Avenue, West Wright Street, North 50th Street and North 51st Street be vacated pursuant to the provisions of Section 66.297, Wisconsin Statutes; and

Whereas, The Department of Public Works has been authorized and directed to prepare a coordinated report estimating all costs and benefit assessments that will be incurred with said vacation; and

Whereas, Said vacation has been reviewed in accordance with Section 81-308-28, Milwaukee Code of Ordinances; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that said portion of alley as indicated by Exhibit A and bound and described by:

That part of the East-West 20-foot wide alley as platted in Tuft's Subdivision, a recorded subdivision in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 14, Township 7 North, Range 21 East, described as follows:

Commencing at the North corner of Lot 10 in said subdivision; thence Northwesterly, along the northeasterly line of Lots 10 through 15 inclusive in said subdivision, to the most Northerly Northeast corner of Lot 15; thence Easterly, along the Easterly extension of the north line of Lot 15, to its point of intersection with the Southerly extension of the west line of Lot 8 in said subdivision; thence Northerly...
