This ordinance lists those election wards which are assigned to each of the 17 aldermanic districts (redistricting) commencing in 2004.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
 
Part 1.  Aldermanic District Boundaries; effective 2004.  Effective with the 2004 spring primary election, the territory included within the limits of the city of Milwaukee shall be divided into 17 aldermanic districts which shall be comprised of the following election wards, as described in resolution file number 010691:
 
1.   FIRST DISTRICT. Wards 1 to 19.
2.   SECOND DISTRICT. Wards 20 to 37.
3.   THIRD DISTRICT. Wards 38 to 55.
4.   FOURTH DISTRICT. Wards 56 to 73.
5.   FIFTH DISTRICT. Wards       74 to 94.
6.   SIXTH DISTRICT. Wards 95 to 112.
7.   SEVENTH DISTRICT. Wards 113 to 131.
8.   EIGHT DISTRICT. Wards 132 to 146.
9.   NINTH DISTRICT. Wards 147 to 163.
10. ELEVENTH DISTRICT. Wards 182 to 200.
12. THIRTEENTH DISTRICT. Wards 216 to 234.
14.  FOURTEENTH DISTRICT. Wards 235 to 257.
15.  FIFTEENTH DISTRICT. Wards 258 to 274.
16.  SIXTEENTH DISTRICT. Wards 275 to 296.
17.  SEVENTEENTH DISTRICT. Wards 297 to 314.
